CONNECT WITH HHP

UF HHP Online

Welcome to the internet home of the University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance’s (HHP) ONLINE COURSES AND PROGRAMS! HHP is dedicated to meeting the needs of time and location bound students. We have 3 online bachelors programs that allow students to complete the last 60 hours of our degree programs from anywhere in the world. In addition, we have a number of continuing and professional education programs designed to facilitate new work-related skills and enhance existing ones. Finally, we have a number of online courses that are made available to other university and community college students that allow non-UF students to earn UF transfer credit while being enrolled at other institutions.

The University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance has a strong commitment to research and teaching.  The research and teaching in HHP has an impact on almost every aspect of the human condition. The college’s four centers – the Center for Digital Health, Center for Exercise Science, Addictive and Health Behaviors Research Institute, and the Center for Tourism Research and Development – as well as its three primary departments – Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, Health Education and Behavior, and Tourism Recreation and Sport Management – place the college firmly in a position to influence and improve an array of societal problems and challenges.

Our faculty are performing groundbreaking research in the mysteries of addictive behavior and substance abuse. They are investigating American’s obesity epidemic from all perspectives, and inquiring how to prevent adolescents from abusing substances. Researchers are studying beneficial therapy techniques for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and cardiovascular disorders. HHP is proud that its students graduate with the tools, knowledge and confidence to fulfill their dreams – and become remarkable assets to their communities. Our alumni choose careers as therapists, clinicians, scientists, recreation and event managers, tourism professionals and physicians. Each helps to contribute to a healthier world for tomorrow.
